Gomasio

Gomasio is a condiment that is always available in my kitchen! To season salads, on top of my beloved whole grains or even in some desserts … I could use it in almost everything. It is no more than toasted sesame seeds with toasted sea salt. Îf used as a home remedy, the condiment will have different proportions than those presented in the recipe and it should be taken once or twice a day, just a teaspoonful. In this case, the proportions will be of 1 tablespoon of sea salt, to 8 to 10 tablespoons of sesame seeds. Its main effects in our body are to alkalize our blood and strengthen the nervous and digestive system, and is therefore recommended in almost all cases of convalescence. According to the Yin Yang theory, this condiment would be Yang type serving as a remedy to neutralize more Yin conditions (such as excess sugar or alcohol, cystitis, colitis …).
